Phinally
Finally got around to getting photos of my figure drawings. Here's a bunch I have done over the past 5 months or so (not really sure). Figure drawing has always been a big part of my life. honestly Its been what has been keeping me sane through the past few months and is a great change of pace from what I was doing for work. You can always work on something you may be weak at or try something new without any fear. Recently I have been going to an open studio with a few of my good friends and that motivates me even more. So thanx Stacy Pierce, Cat Hupp, Sean Favre, Alex Clare, and Marlo Meekins.

My Good Friend Sean Favre

It feels good to draw someone brand new to the art form. Im glad I get do draw new people and hopefully inspire them like I was inspired my peers and Idols when I first started.

I have been really stressing memory drawing to artists recently. Practice by looking at someone for 30 seconds or so then draw them from memory. This will not only help to simply your your drawings for better likeness, it will also help build how you see someone and breakdown shapes immediately. Try drawing friends and co workers with absolutely no reference, then go back and look at them and see what you could have done differently. Always try to build that memory muscle and keep striving to push and better yourself with every drawing! Thank you guys for checking my blog and commenting. I really appreciate it!
